What does every great game start with? A great level! We’ll explore what goes into making epic game play in this fast-paced design course using Unreal Engine, a powerful open-source industry tool used in many of today’s top games. Learn to craft your own custom environment for exploration and interaction. Students will create explorable levels with control over everything from visual effects to physics. We’ll talk about what makes a good level for different sorts of games, how to create custom textures and objects, and learn to write scripts that control the way things interact in a game. Do you want to make a spacecraft? A castle? A battle arena? A parkour course? We’ll teach you the tools to make all of those and more.
