Classes at Einstein's Workshop are a 6 week opportunity to learn STEAM concepts and tools not typically covered in schools. Classes focus on a specific tool, program, or one of our 4 categories:
Classes at Einstein's Workshop are an excellent introduction to a STEAM topic/tool. Our classes teach students how to navigate through a specific software or inter-phase. The students will progress through a curriculum-based course: each day will be a lesson to provide a more complete understanding of the topic at hand. After the day's lesson, students will have the opportunity to apply the day's lesson toward their own creative endeavor. In this way, students learn by doing. By the end of the course, our goal is for the students to have creatively used our lessons towards a project or a series of assignments (depending on the class, this could be tangible- like a robot or 3D Print- or it could be intangible like a Scratch game or CAD file.) Our overall in-classroom philosophy creates a fun environment for kids to be inspired to pursue further STEAM learning.
