At Einstein's Workshop, we are looking for people who are passionate about STEAM.

Responsibilities
The Instructor will teach classes at Einstein’s Workshop’s main site and/or at after school programs in the Greater Boston area to students in grades K-8.
Hours and Logistics
- Locations include Andover, Arlington, Beverly, Boston, Burlington, Cambridge, Lexington, Needham, Newton.
- Starting at 2-10 hours per week. Can grow over time, especially in the summer when it can be a full-time job if desired.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some experience instructing groups of children grades K-8.
- Especially helpful is experience with grades K-2.
- Experience in STEM related fields is helpful but we will train the right person in our tools and curriculum!
- Infectious enthusiasm that fosters innovation and creativity in kids’ learning.
- Interest and background in one of the following areas is helpful: science, technology, programming, engineering, math, electronics, digital art.
- STEAM experience is helpful, but we are happy to train enthusiastic instructors on our curriculum and technology!
- Instructors and teaching assistants are required to move around the classroom to engage with students so this job requires being able to stand and move around for at least an hour and fifteen minutes without resting.
- You have the ability to lift and move materials, up to 20 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Necessary Skills
- Experience working with kids.
- One to two years of college education in science, technology, engineering, art/design, math, or education.
