In this introduction to the world of programming, students will learn first through hands on games, then by guiding Botley, a programmable robot, through a series of mazes. Once they’ve mastered the basics, students will tackle more complex programming in Scratch Jr, a free tablet based programming environment. Students love creating stories and games with Scratch Jr., which makes basic coding logic fun and easy to learn!
Once a student of Einstein’s Workshop herself, Allanna is now excited to be a Teacher! Chung has always loved teaching students and helping to inspire a love of STEAM in young kids. She is particularly passionate at helping kids discover the joys of math, even having co-written The Kitchen Pantry Scientist: Math for Kids to help kids all over the world learn just how cool math can be!
