Most STEAM Days offer the 3 options listed below. Please choose one option for each child. There are a few afternoon-only STEAM Days which are all called “Afternoon (1-4PM) STEAM Day.”
- Full Day (9 AM – 4 PM)
- Morning Only (9 AM – 12 Noon)
- Afternoon Only (1 PM – 4 PM)
General Flow of a STEAM Day

| 2:45 – 4 PM | Choice of two activities, one of which will be Minecraft |
Example Activities
- Create floating space cities in Minecraft
- Make working rockets to take home
- Create a space game in the Scratch programming language
- Build a Mars rover with LEGO Mindstorms
- Launch virtual spaceships in Kerbal Space Program
- Play life-sized board games
- Create an animatronic LEGO village
- Make a light-up “gingerbread” house to take home
STEAM Days Logistics
Morning Session
9:00 am
- 12:00 pm
Afternoon Session
1:00 pm
- 4:00 pm
- Supervision from 12 – 1 PM is included at no additional cost for students attending both the morning and afternoon sessions.
- Parents provide a nutfree lunch.
- Morning and afternoon snacks can be purchased at Einstein’s Workshop or provided by parents.
Extended Play Options
Most STEAM Days offer early drop-off and late pick-up options.
- Early Drop-Off starts at 8:15 AM
- Half day students can add lunch supervision (lunch is provided by parents)
- Late Pick-Up ends at 5 PM most STEAM Days but occasionally can be extended to 5:45 PM.
